About
Captain Popoff turns long videos and live streams into captioned vertical clips and posts them to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram without anyone in the loop. It was built for gaming creators and the clippers who work for them, with launch weeks in mind: point it at a channel or a stream and the clips go out while you are still playing.
How it works
Every source goes through the same pipeline: the audio is transcribed with word timings, the sound and motion are scored for moments worth clipping, each candidate is checked and titled by the verifier, the ones above your threshold are rendered with burned-in captions, and the scheduler spreads them across your accounts inside each platform's own limits.
What it will not do
It only processes video you own or are authorised to use. Uploads carry a timestamped attestation, YouTube links and live channels are accepted only from channels you have verified through Google or from a campaign source list the service operator has approved, and there is no discovery of other people's content, by design.
Where it runs
The service is operated from the United Kingdom. Transcription and scoring run on our own servers; the top candidate moments are sent to a third-party processor that checks and titles them. The privacy page says what is kept and for how long, and the contact page has the addresses for questions, rights notices and privacy requests.
