Terms of service
Last updated 5 November 2026
These terms cover your use of Captain Popoff. By creating an account you agree to them.
Only video you have the right to use
You may only add video you own or are authorised to use. Every source you add carries a rights attestation that we record with your account and the time. YouTube links and live channels are accepted only from channels you have verified through Google, or from a campaign source list that an admin of your workspace has approved. The service does not find or fetch other people's videos for you.
Your accounts, your posts
Posts go out under the social accounts you connect, with the privacy and disclosure settings you choose for each account. You are responsible for what is posted, including the platforms' own rules on music, disclosure and content. Autopilot acts on your settings; you can pause it, review clips first, or cancel a scheduled post at any time.
Takedowns and repeat infringement
Anyone can report a clip they believe infringes their rights through the takedown notice. We act on valid notices and tell the account holder. Our repeat infringer policy explains how strikes lead to termination.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Source minutes reset each billing period and do not carry over. If a payment fails the workspace returns to the free plan after the grace period Stripe allows.
Ending the service
You can delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for abuse, including uploading content you have no rights to, trying to post content the platforms forbid, or circumventing the rights checks. We may change these terms with notice by email.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for lost revenue from posts that fail, are removed by a platform, or do not perform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, which governs these terms.
